About The Position

Four-Legged Fun Zone is looking for Dog Daycare Handler Assistants who have already built a strong foundation in off-leash dog daycare and are ready for the next step. If you understand canine body language, group dynamics, and safe playgroup management, we'll teach you how to safely supervise and lead your own off-leash playgroup of 10–15 dogs. This position is designed for someone looking for a stable, long-term role—not a temporary or transitional position.

Requirements

Completed at least 50 shifts in the past six months where you spent at least 4 continuous hours actively supervising or assisting with supervising an off-leash dog playgroup with 8 or more dogs.
Held at least one paid animal-care position for 12 consecutive months or longer within the past 3 years.
Live within 30 minutes of the facility.
Able to stand and walk for the entire shift.
Able to confidently manage dogs up to 150 lbs.

Responsibilities

Actively supervise and lead off-leash playgroups of 10-15 dogs.
Manage dog playgroups, understanding canine body language, group dynamics, and safe playgroup management.
Supervise dogs up to 150 lbs.
Arrive on time consistently.
