About The Position

The Dog Bather plays a vital role at Scenthound, providing efficient, high-quality services that uphold our commitment to dog wellness and safety. This role will begin as a part-time position, with the intention of expanding to full-time as business growth allows.

Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 70 pounds and stand for extended periods
• Reliable transportation
• Flexible schedule with availability on Saturdays
• Willingness to work in a smoke-free environment
• Experience handling dogs
• Strong dog-handling and control skills
• Effective communication with team members and dog parents

Responsibilities

• Bathe, blow-dry, and perform prep services according to the order ticket
• Trim or grind nails, clean ears and teeth, brush coats, and express glands
• Observe and record dogs’ health indicators in the S.C.E.N.T. Check app
• Collaborate with the team to complete services efficiently and on schedule
• Ensure the safety and well-being of dogs and team members at all times
• Maintain cleanliness and adhere to Scenthound’s sanitation standards
• Assist teammates as needed and complete additional tasks assigned by the Scenter Manager
