About The Position
The Dog Bather provides quick and efficient services to help keep dogs clean and healthy. This is a foundational role with a career growth path to Dog Trimmer, as well as additional options in Front Desk, Assistant Manager, and Manager roles. The successful candidate is detail-oriented, resilient, perceptive, patient, adaptable, compassionate, and motivated to advance through the training path to become a Scenthound Trimmer. The role involves preparing dogs for trimming, performing bathing and grooming-support services, identifying health indicators, and working collaboratively to complete ordered services while keeping dogs and team members safe. Candidates must be able to lift up to 70 pounds, stand for extended periods, work in a fast-paced environment, have reliable transportation, and be willing to work in a smoke-free environment.

Responsibilities
- Clean and/or prepare dogs for trimming according to the order ticket.
- Bathe and blow-dry dogs; clip or grind nails; clean ears; brush coats; clean teeth; and express glands.
- Identify dogs’ health indicators and enter them into the S.C.E.N.T. Check app.
- Work with the team to complete ordered services.
- Assist others or ask for assistance as needed to keep the Scenter on schedule.
- Ensure the safety of dogs and team members at all times.
- Follow Scenthound sanitary and cleaning practices.
- Perform other tasks and duties as assigned by the Scenter Manager.
