About The Position

EnDyna, a woman-owned small business based in McLean, Virginia, is seeking a Subject Matter Expert (SME) Scientist – CBRN to support federal preparedness and response initiatives related to chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear (CBRN) incidents for a forthcoming Washington Headquarters Services (WHS) Environmental Compliance, Planning, and Resiliency contract in the Washington, DC metro area. This program supports complex, multi-site federal environmental operations across compliance, sustainability, and resiliency initiatives. The SME Scientist will provide senior-level technical expertise in planning, preparedness, response, and recovery for CBRN incidents, supporting mission-critical federal operations.

Requirements

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • Must be able to obtain a Secret security clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree in science/engineering + 15+ years experience OR Master’s degree + 13+ years experience

Responsibilities

  • Planning and supporting CBRN response and recovery operations
  • Coordinating with agencies and supporting meetings
  • Writing CBRN plans and participating in drills/exercises
  • Conducting threat assessments and mitigation planning
  • Providing expertise in health exposure risks
  • Providing expertise in decontamination procedures
  • Providing expertise in PPE levels and protocols
  • Providing expertise in sampling strategies and field testing
  • Providing expertise in laboratory analysis and QA
  • Providing expertise in clearance goals and waste disposal
