About The Position

This internship program is designed for active duty Service Members participating in the DoD SkillBridge program. The intern will be involved in the execution of the monthly build process, providing supporting documentation such as Trouble Reports (TR), System Version Documents (SVD), and Load Plan/Installation Procedures (IP). Responsibilities include installing GOTS and COTS software, troubleshooting, and performing extensive information systems security analysis, including the controls implemented to secure a system. The intern will also be responsible for quality assurance checks of products and documentation generated by teammates.

Requirements

  • Certifications Required: Security +, MCP (MCSA - Windows 10)
  • Both written and verbal communications skills are required
  • Must be able to work well in a team environment
  • Windows based systems administration/configuration/installation skills
  • U.S. Citizenship
  • U.S. Government security clearance at the Secret level

Nice To Haves

  • BSCS, BSCE, BSEE, or BS IT
  • Scripting experience
  • Tanzu experience
  • Kubernetes experience
  • Familiar with troubleshooting Windows® domains, services (DHCP, DNS, WINS), and applications
  • Familiar with VMware virtualization technologies
  • Familiarity with the functions of the Windows registry, directory structure, and Group Policy is a plus
  • Experience with PowerShell\Batch\VBS scripting
  • Experience with GCCS-J, C2PC, VMware vSphere (ESXi), VMware vCenter, HBSS, DISA STIGS, ACAS, NESSUS, and IBM software (JAZZ)
