About The Position
Santa Barbara Infrared, Inc. (SBIR) is a subsidiary of HEICO Corporation, a company with over 50 years of success in the aerospace, defense, and electronics industries. SBIR specializes in designing and manufacturing advanced Infrared (IR) and Electro-Optical (E-O) test instrumentation for military and commercial sensor systems. SBIR is currently seeking a TEMP -- Document Scanner to operate document-imaging equipment for the creation and archiving of electronic files.
Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- One to two years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
- Ability to write simple correspondence.
- Must be a US citizen, permanent resident, or a person who has been granted asylum due to US Export Control Regulations compliance.
- Must pass background, reference, and ITAR/EAR checks.
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screen.
Responsibilities
- Prepares documents for scanning.
- Scans documents.
- Verifies the quality of digital images.
- Stores images according to organizational guidelines.
