This position's primary function is document review and preparation. This includes creating spreadsheets, charts, graphs, mail merges, tables, presentations, and other documents to support the client’s brand and track the progress of all work. The role involves creating and editing legal documents to client specifications using applicable software, transcribing tapes, scanning and cleaning documents, and converting documents to/from different file formats. The associate will also recover/restore corrupted document files when needed, handle sensitive and/or confidential documents and information, and use document comparison software, red-lining, and general editing to correct legal documents as directed. Additionally, the role requires creating complex formulas and functions to analyze data and producing various documents as requested. As part of the shift, there may be a need to intake work requests from the client, including clarifying job instructions, negotiating deadlines with the requester, and prioritizing work requests across the team.
