The Senior Document Production Associate position is responsible for providing word processing and/or document production services for our clients. This role involves performing document production work according to established policies and procedures, thoroughly assessing job requests, and ensuring appropriate completion throughout the task lifecycle. The associate will exercise independent judgment and use established procedures, standards, and formats to edit, proofread, convert, create, transcribe, or otherwise complete document production requests to client satisfaction. A key aspect of this role is demonstrating intermediate to advanced use of equipment, technology, software, and hardware necessary to perform job functions. The position also includes assisting with the coordination of document production services, preparation, intake, and workflow within the team, as well as troubleshooting more complex software or hardware problems. Utilizing appropriate logs and/or tracking software for all assigned work, meeting contracted deadlines, and communicating with peers, supervisors, or clients on job or deadline issues are essential. The role also contributes to fostering a proactive environment of continuous service enhancement and relationship building with the client. Handling sensitive and/or confidential documents and information, performing Quality Assurance on the work of others, and training more junior staff members are also responsibilities. Additionally, the associate will assist peer teams with proofreading, design, or other document production and preparation as needed, and complete other tasks and assignments as assigned by management. Interaction with clients in person, over the phone, or electronically is expected, along with adherence to Williams Lea policies and client site policies. Finally, using equipment and supplies in a cost-efficient manner is required.
