About The Position

The document processor is responsible for producing and formatting regulatory documents, such as testimony and data responses, in support of regulatory filings. This position is hybrid, working from your remote office and Oakland General Office twice per week and based on business needs. The interview process will include an assignment to follow specified instructions and edit a document.

Requirements

  • High School or GED-General Educational Development-GED Diploma
  • 2 years experience in word/document processing, or equivalent

Nice To Haves

  • Expert level in Microsoft Word
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Proficient in Adobe Acrobat
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • 3 years experience in document processing, or equivalent

Responsibilities

  • Produce regulatory documents accurately in correct standardized formats while meeting clients' deadlines, format files in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint and Adobe Acrobat; troubleshoot problems that arise when working on files received from clients, and proofread work for correct style, format, spelling, and punctuation
  • Consult with clients to determine requirements of work assignment
  • Continuously work to improve process by assisting clients in formulating best manner to complete work assignments
  • Create print-ready Excel spreadsheets, including page layout, print areas, scaling, headers/footers, and page breaks
  • Ability to copy and paste graphs/charts into Word using Paste Special
  • Format reports
  • Edit, testimony, reports, and correspondence
  • Maintain and update desk reference guides and manuals
  • Proofread the work of other document processors when applicable
