About The Position

The Document Imaging Representative is responsible for all functions related to medical records, inclusive of but not limited to: ensuring the privacy of PHI and accuracy of clinical and non-clinical document review and uploading in the Electronic Medical Record; performing department-wide quality audits; and collaborating across the department/service areas as needed.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• A minimum of two years of experience in medical records management
• Knowledge of medical terminology
• Strong understanding and adherence to compliance and privacy laws such as HIPAA regulations and health care facility confidentiality protocols
• A high degree of accuracy to ensure subsequent retrieval of documents as possible based on defined criteria
