About The Position

University of Florida College of Medicine – Jacksonville, Department of Orthopaedic Surgery & Rehabilitation is seeking a full-time academic Doctor of Podiatric Medicine and Program Director of Residency Training- Podiatric Surgery. This position will be considered at the academic level of Clinical Assistant/Associate/Full Professor, commensurate with experience and academic qualifications. Major responsibilities include performing podiatric surgical and ambulatory care, providing leadership for the Podiatric Medicine and Surgery Residency (PMSR/RRA), teaching and research, located at the Downtown Jacksonville campus. UF Health is the Southeast’s premier academic health center and an integral part of the University of Florida. The UF College of Medicine – Jacksonville is the largest of the three colleges at the Health Science Center Jacksonville. The college's 16 clinical science departments house more than 500 faculty members, 1,560 staff and 450 residents and fellows, as well as medical students from UF and around the country.

Requirements

  • Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM)
  • Completed a CPME accredited Podiatric Medicine and Surgery Residency/RRA
  • Board certified or board eligible (ABFAS)
  • Eligible for licensure in Florida
