About The Position

Shopko Optical is seeking an Optometrist to join their team at the Manitowoc, WI location. This role offers the opportunity to build your own practice with the autonomy to do so. Shopko provides support for doctors, enabling them to build relationships within their communities. Ancillary support, including screening and patient billing, is provided so doctors can focus on patient care. The practice focuses on comprehensive eye exams, contact lens fitting, refractive services, and diagnosing, treating, and managing eye disease, as well as cataract and refractive surgery co-management.

Requirements

• OD Degree from ACOE approved College of Optometry
• Ability to communicate with customers and teammates
• Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive eye exams
• Perform contact lens fittings
• Provide refractive services
• Diagnose, treat, and manage eye disease
• Co-manage cataract and refractive surgery
