Requirements
- Doctor of Chiropractic (D.C.) degree
- Active state chiropractic license (or ability to obtain one)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Passion for helping patients achieve better health
- Knowledge of the neuromusculoskeletal system and evidence-based chiropractic care
Responsibilities
- Consult with patients and obtain medical histories
- Perform examinations and diagnose neuromusculoskeletal conditions
- Develop individualized treatment plans
- Perform chiropractic adjustments and other appropriate therapies
- Recommend complementary services such as massage therapy, acupuncture, rehabilitation, or functional medicine when appropriate
- Educate patients on posture, nutrition, exercise, sleep, and healthy lifestyle habits
- Maintain accurate patient records
- Collaborate with other providers to ensure the highest level of patient care
- Refer patients to specialists when necessary
