Doctor Assistant At Wolfe Eye Clinic, we create Better Vision for a Better Life. We have an immediate opening for a full-time Doctor Assistant based in our Fort Dodge location.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a medical office
- Previous experience with an electronic medical record or medical office software
- Ability to effectively enter information into a variety of computer programs
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Ability to provide excellent patient service
Responsibilities
- Assisting the physician during clinic
- Performing patient work-ups
- Obtaining prior authorizations for insurance
- Scribing and Coding during the exam
- Organizing and preparing clinic documents
- Documenting into the electronic medical record
- Assisting in surgical scheduling
- Answering patient calls and messages
- Providing patient education
- Performing other duties as assigned
