About The Position

TForce Freight is seeking a reliable, safety- and customer-focused individual to join its logistics team as a part-time Dockworker. The role ensures freight is loaded safely and efficiently for on-time delivery to customers and in good condition. It involves operating powered warehouse equipment, including forklifts, cherry pickers, hydraulic jacks, and extended belts. Tractors are used to maneuver vehicles safely and efficiently, including in tight spaces. The role may also require safely operating a tractor and trailer to deliver or pick up customer freight while maintaining a positive, safety-focused, and professional approach.

Requirements

Forklift operator certification.
Impeccable customer service and dedication.
Able to perform essential job functions without obvious risk of injury to self or coworkers.
Able to read, write, and speak English.
U.S. citizen or otherwise authorized to work in the U.S.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

Operate yard trucks to manage dock needs and maintain a safe, clean environment.
Process and palletize damaged penny and RTV merchandise.
Follow all safety protocols to ensure a secure workplace.
Help maintain and care for dock equipment.
Unload cargo using cranes or forklifts.
Secure shipments upon arrival and before departure.
Load freight safely and efficiently for on-time delivery and to maintain its condition.
Operate powered warehouse equipment, including forklifts, cherry pickers, hydraulic jacks, and extended belts.
Maneuver vehicles with tractors safely and efficiently, including in tight spaces.
As needed, safely operate a tractor and trailer to deliver or pick up freight from customers.
