Located in the heart of downtown Toronto, the Metro Toronto Convention Centre (MTCC) is Canada’s most successful convention and trade show facility. The MTCC welcomes approximately 1 million visitors each year, hosting a variety of events from meetings and conventions to public shows and galas. The Centre is an economic driver, a proud supporter of our community, and a meeting place where meaningful connections are made. Beyond helping planners create successful events, we believe that “Our People are the Centre.” Our talented team is our greatest strength, and we offer a corporate culture that values work-life balance, great benefits, professional development, wellness, and fun. Our Dockhands play a key role in keeping the flow of events running smoothly, from the first truck arrival to the final load-out. Reporting to the Docks Supervisors, this position supports the move-in and move-out of conventions, trade and consumer shows, and theatre productions, helping ensure a safe and organized environment in our busy dock areas and facility entrances. Whether guiding transport vehicles into place or assisting with marshalling during setup and teardown, Dockhands are an essential part of delivering the seamless experience our clients have come to expect at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre.
