Requirements

High School diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to pass a forklift driving certification test and operate a forklift safely is required.
Basic computer skills required, including the use of Microsoft Office, PC application, and the ability to work with different applications on different formats.
Ability to read, write, speak, and comprehend basic English is essential for understanding various forms of work directions and safety instructions.
This position requires the ability to communicate, both verbally and written, in a professional, positive, and constructive manner.
Good customer service and people skills are required as this position often acts as a customer facing representative of T.O. Plastics during interactions with outside truck drivers and vendors.
Must be detail oriented and demonstrate both team-based and independent work skills.
Strong organization, time management, multitasking, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
Must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
Must be able to wear all required personal protective equipment consistently and correctly. This may include wearing safety glasses, ear plugs, gloves, other safety equipment as designated, and adhering to the safety dress code.

Prior forklift certification/experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Pick and Pull Customer Orders.
Stage orders for shipping.
Safely load and unload trucks.
Ensure all shipments are complete and shipped correctly.
Identify and report issues in packing, stacking, incomplete, or unsafe pallets.
Complete all paperwork accurately (i.e., basic paperwork, scrap tickets, transfers, etc.).
Maintain transfer accuracy and location accuracy at > 95%.
Enhanced TMM knowledge (i.e., transfers, lookup, GENQ, and scheduling report).
Transfers complete at end of each order.
Complete training on double stacking pallets in the warehouse.
Understand warehouse layout and maintain organization.
Identify and implement solutions to warehouse challenges.
Understand Production processes and anticipate possible issues.
Multitask and anticipate issues.
Maintain dock area by sweeping and cleaning as need.
Maintain the cleanliness of all forklifts.
Operate a forklift safely in a fast-paced environment while carrying small to large loads.
Must be able to develop a good knowledge of T.O. Plastics products.
Treat outside truck drivers and customers with respect, professionalism, and act as the face of T.O. Plastics.
Identify and report any unsafe work conditions, behaviors, or incidents.
Follow and adhere to all safety procedures.
Other duties as assigned by the supervisor/manager.
