Requirements
- Basic reading skills
- Ability to follow directions and to work from shipping orders, shipping instructions, and regulations
- Ability to work with little supervision
- Ability to work well with others
- Ability to communicate well with others
Responsibilities
- Check products to be shipped against shipping order to insure proper amounts, identification, and correct materials
- Instruct Packers and Craters what type of packing and crating are necessary to insure safe transportation for both domestic and export shipments
- Instruct paintline loaders the proper order in which to hang a job so that items will be properly identified and accounted for
- Follow standardized work rules
