Temporary Dock Worker, Warehouse
About The Position
As a Temporary Dock Worker at Saks Global's Pinnacle Park Distribution Center, you will be an integral part of the Inbound / Receiving team. Your primary role will involve assisting with the unloading of merchandise from trucks and meticulously sorting this merchandise for subsequent put-away. A key aspect of this position includes inspecting all incoming merchandise for any signs of damage or quality concerns, and collaborating with the leadership team to promptly address and rectify any identified issues. This is a temporary role, estimated to last approximately three weeks.
Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods as needed.
- Ability to read and comprehend the English language.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in warehouse safety, distribution operations, or a related field preferred.
Responsibilities
- Unload merchandise from trucks.
- Sort and separate merchandise in preparation for put-away.
- Inspect incoming merchandise for damage or quality concerns.
- Escalate damage & quality concerns to leadership team.
