About The Position

As a Material Handler at our Logistics Facility, you will provide world-class customer service to all internal and external customers. You will transport materials and donated merchandise through day-to-day operations at the Logistics Center. You will operate assigned equipment in a safe manner, including a forklift. You will assist in guiding the movement of vehicles in a safe manner, loading and unloading of vehicles, and maintaining the vehicles in a clean, neat, and safe manner, in accordance with organizational policies and procedures. You will assist White Glove Service in picking up donated goods from customers' homes and/or businesses, along with unloading at GIM locations. You will ensure all donated merchandise is properly secured and well cared for to prevent damage while in transport.

Requirements

Excellent customer service skills
The ability to work independently
Prior warehouse or dock worker experience required
Certified Forklift Operator required
Must be able to perform the essential functions of the job with or without accommodation

Nice To Haves

Safety certifications preferred
Driver spotter experience preferred
