About The Position
This is a Dock Worker position on the afternoon shift, with a pay rate of $17.00 per hour plus a $2.50 per hour shift differential. There is an opportunity for permanent hire after a 90-day evaluation period. The schedule is full-time, Monday-Friday from 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm, with overtime required, including Saturdays. The location is 700 Airtech Parkway, Plainfield, IN 46168.
Requirements
- 4 months previous distribution facility experience
- Ability to walk, stand, bend, stoop, and lift 50lbs
- Proven ability to be successful in a fast paced, seasonal, work environment
- Safety shoes required
Responsibilities
- Operate within the GreyOrange or Jennifer systems to pick items
- Maintain accuracy by verifying book titles, quantities, and item conditions
- Label, scan, and sort boxes for shipping
- Follow all safety guidelines
