About The Position

Lakeside Book Company is seeking a Dock Worker for the afternoon shift. This role is crucial in maintaining our safety culture and ensuring efficient operations within our distribution facility. This is a full-time position with the opportunity for permanent hire after a 90-day evaluation period. The shift is Monday-Friday, 3:00 pm - 11:00 pm, with overtime required, including Saturdays.

Requirements

• 4 months previous distribution facility experience
• Ability to walk, stand, bend, stoop, and lift 50lbs
• Proven ability to be successful in a fast paced, seasonal, work environment
• Safety shoes required

Responsibilities

• Operate within the GreyOrange or Jennifer systems to pick items
• Maintain accuracy by verifying book titles, quantities, and item conditions
• Label, scan, and sort boxes for shipping
• Follow all safety guidelines
