About The Position
Manitoulin Transport is seeking a Dock Worker to join their team. This role involves loading and unloading trailers, distributing freight, documenting discrepancies, reweighing and cubing freight, and maintaining a clean warehouse and yard. The position requires adherence to health and safety policies and the ability to handle freight safely and efficiently.
Requirements
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Must work well with others and take direction
- Must be able to think on your feet in a high pace environment
- Must have fork lift experience
- Able to solve problems when they arrive
Responsibilities
- Loading/Unloading inbound and outbound trailers
- Distributing freight to P&D Drivers
- Documenting overages, shortages and damages
- Reweighing and cubing freight
- Keeping the yard and warehouse clean
- Safe, Claims free Movement and sorting of freight
