About The Position

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of experience in a manufacturing industry setting.
  • Ability to follow safety protocols and work in a physically demanding environment.
  • Familiarity with ensuring accuracy while loading material.
  • Manual lifting up to 45 lbs
  • Wood bracing to secure loads, preventing damage during transit and ensuring compliance with safety standards.

Nice To Haves

  • Valid forklift operator certification or equivalent preferred
  • Proven experience in loading trucks and trailer spotting within a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
  • Basic knowledge of wood bracing techniques for securing cargo.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify and mitigate workplace hazards proactively.

Responsibilities

  • Direct and position incoming and outgoing trailers safely and efficiently at designated dock doors.
  • Assist in loading trucks by coordinating with forklift operators and warehouse staff.
  • Maintain clear communication with team members to ensure smooth trailer movements.
