About The Position
The dock worker is responsible for handling freight and preparing equipment and loads for deliveries. Duties include loading, unloading, and staging skids; building loads using freight tools; repairing pallets or freight as needed; and assembling equipment for deliveries. This is a full-time, in-person position with an 8-hour shift and overtime.
Requirements
- Ability to perform freight-handling duties using a manual pallet jack or forklift.
- Ability to follow instructions while working independently or as part of a team.
- Reliable transportation.
- Willingness and ability to pass a drug screen, physical, and background check.
- Ability to lift heavy equipment.
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
