The Dock Supervisor will report to the Operations Manager / Assistant Service Center Manager and/or Service Center Manager. This role involves leading, guiding, and directing dock employees, setting targets, monitoring performance, and providing coaching, counseling, and development. The supervisor is accountable for managing an efficient, clean, and safe LTL operation, including dock planning and setting up schedules. They will enforce company policies, safety rules, and government regulations, and be involved in hiring and termination recommendations. The position also involves administering business plan portions, meeting KPIs, utilizing company enhancement tools, and revising schedules for efficiency and cost reduction. Responsibilities include equipment assignment and movement, customer communication, and overseeing all dock-related paperwork for timely and accurate handling. Regular attendance is required, and employees must be able to perform any and all other duties as assigned.
