About The Position
The Dock Securement Night Shift Manager is responsible for safely securing and unsecuring steel coils on loading docks while ensuring compliance with all customer, company and safety requirements. This position plays a critical role in supporting transportation operations by preparing freight for safe movement and maintaining accurate documentation throughout the shift.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Strong attention to safety and detail.
- Dependable attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Ability to stand and walk for the majority of the shift.
- Ability to bend, reach, push, pull and perform physical labor throughout the workday.
- Ability to work in an industrial environment and varying weather conditions as required
- Maintain the confidentiality of all company and customer information and must not discuss such matters outside of Keith Titus Corporation.
- Tact and discretion must be used in all dealings with all customers and potential customers to maintain a positive image of Keith Titus Corporation
Responsibilities
- Secure and unsecure steel coils according to established procedures.
- Complete and submit all required paperwork accurately and on time.
- Follow all customer and company securement procedures.
- Comply with all Page and Novelis safety policies and protocols.
- Wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times while on duty.
- Inspect securement equipment and report any issues or safety concerns.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding operational needs.
- Assist with additional dock-related duties as assigned.
