About The Position
Saia is a logistics and transportation company committed to its people, customers, and community. This role is for an experienced temporary Dock Recruiter to support high-volume recruiting for dock positions across multiple markets. The position is fully remote and involves full lifecycle recruiting, including sourcing, screening, scheduling, and managing candidates through the hiring process. The ideal candidate has experience in transportation, logistics, dock, or high-volume hourly recruiting and can quickly adapt to a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
- Previous recruiting experience required
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Experience using ATS systems and recruiting platforms
Nice To Haves
- Experience recruiting for transportation, dock, manufacturing, or logistics roles preferred
- High-volume recruiting experience strongly preferred
Responsibilities
- Manage full lifecycle recruiting for dock positions
- Source candidates through job boards, referrals, social media, and outreach efforts
- Screen applicants and conduct phone interviews
- Coordinate interviews and hiring steps with local operations teams
- Maintain candidate communication and ensure a positive candidate experience
- Track recruiting activity and hiring progress in the ATS
- Partner with recruiting leadership to meet weekly hiring goals
