This is an on-site position at the Ocotillo campus in Chandler, Arizona. The Dock Project Manager (DPM) provides overall oversight and coordination of dock side operations supporting Move in/Move out (MiMo) activities. This role integrates dock execution, freight flow, scheduling, and post install quality assurance/quality control (QAQC) to ensure tools, materials, and infrastructure are managed safely, on schedule, and to required quality standards without impact to Fab production. The DPM serves as the single point of accountability for dock execution, quality closure, and constraint resolution across assigned buildings and projects, coordinating multiple contingent service support roles to deliver efficient, compliant operations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or architecture or related technical field (or 4+ years of experience -related technical field- in lieu of the degree).
  • 4+ years of experience in: Construction Project Management, Engineering, Tool Installation/Qualification, and/or related Construction Leadership expertise.
  • Managing complex, constraint driven operational interfaces.
  • Coordinating construction logistics or MiMo (Move in/Move out) operations in active manufacturing environments.
  • Microsoft Office and scheduling/tracking tools.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree in engineering or architecture or related technical field with 3+ years of experience in Construction Project Management, Engineering, Tool Installation/Qualification, and/or related Construction Leadership expertise.
  • Knowledge and expertise in the installation of process tool equipment.
  • Strong understanding of dock operations, tool move in/out workflows, and QAQC processes.
  • Medium, large-scale projects, and program management.

Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day oversight and coordination of contracted service support resources, including Dock Coordinators, Dock Schedulers, MiMo QAQC Coordinators, and MiMo DCF Coordinators.
  • Maintain accountability for dock operations, freight elevators, pass throughs, and tool receipt, staging, and dispatch.
  • Ensure dock and elevator infrastructure remains safe, operational, and optimized for throughput.
  • Ensure alignment between dock schedules, MiMo schedules, and project milestones.
  • Resolve dock level conflicts across multiple tools, contractors, and concurrent projects.
  • Manage docks and freight elevators as critical bottleneck resources and direct contingency planning as needed.
  • Oversee final post install architectural QAQC activities and ensure inspections are executed, documented, and closed per approved processes.
  • Ensure NCRs and punch list items are tracked and gated issues escalated appropriately.
  • Enforce adherence to safety, MiMo governance, IDP requirements, and site logistics protocols.
  • Act as the primary interface for dock operations with project teams, tool owners, contractors, and facilities partners.
  • Ensure timely communication of dock status, constraints, and impacts.
  • Drive lessons learned and continuous improvement across dock operations performance and Improvement.
  • Oversee tracking and reporting of key dock performance metrics (KPIs - Key Performance Indicators).
  • Identify systemic constraints and lead improvements to reduce congestion, rework, and cycle time.
  • Support standardization of dock operations across projects and buildings.
