About The Position

Gordon Food Service takes pride in delivering seamless order processing and delivery to our customers, and our warehouse staff is the backbone of our success. The Dock Coordinator manages the dock space, including organization and prioritization of the freight. You'll also be responsible for unloading trucks using a forklift/pallet jack, staging product to be broken down, and sorting freight to be hauled to replenishment aisles within the warehouse.

Requirements

Must be 18 years of age or older.
Must be able to work holidays, weekends, and overtime as needed.
Ability to work in extreme cold or hot conditions is required.
Must be able to read, write and communicate in English (to read labels, pick lists, scanners, signage, company website information related to benefits, updates, complete paperwork, and follow verbal instructions).
Successfully pass a drug test that will assess drug usage and a background check.

Current Receiving personnel will receive preference (must stay on current shift).
