About The Position

We are looking for a warm and engaging team member that will become an integral part of our Flavor Factory. The Dock Coordinator is a part of a dedicated team that manages our vendor receiving and customer order shipments during our 1st Shift. With a true dock to dock focus, you create balance across the daily traffic flow in our fast-paced manufacturing and warehouse facility. You are Torani's Inbound and Outbound ambassador, and your reach extends beyond greeting truck drivers, vendors, and partners. With an equal focus on driver satisfaction and dock door activities, the Dock Coordinator organizes dock door availability and status, welcomes and checks in drivers, and notes order status in our Warehouse Management System and our inbound/outbound appointment tracking system, OpenDock. You facilitate ongoing communication among the shipping, receiving, and picking teams to support a successful Torani service day with deliveries and transfers. You understand and have the skillset for forklift operation, trailer loading, order audits, staging, and adhering to safety and quality standards, but it doesn't stop there. Verification processes and team member support are your mantras and your dedication to doing it right the first time is legendary. You are a go-getter who gives it your all and is always willing to lend a hand and support others in times of need. When challenges arise, you come up with sustainable solutions and help bring them to life! You seamlessly adapt to the changing needs of the business and help Torani scale processes in Shipping & Receiving to support our tremendous growth! Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience working in a warehouse
  • 2 years of forklift driver experience, with current certification (Required)
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience with warehouse management systems, utilizing scanner technology and data entry into desktop required
  • Previous experience loading trailers/shipments
  • Knowledge of basic arithmetic and mathematics

Responsibilities

  • Manages vendor receiving and customer order shipments.
  • Organizes dock door availability and status.
  • Welcomes and checks in drivers.
  • Notes order status in Warehouse Management System and OpenDock.
  • Facilitates communication among shipping, receiving, and picking teams.
  • Operates forklift for loading, unloading, receiving goods, and replenishing manufacturing lines.
  • Assists with receiving Bulk Ingredients such as Granulated Sugar, Invert Sugar, and Corn Syrup.
  • Maintains a safe and enjoyable work environment.
  • Ensures that the right shipping or receiving information is provided for every truck and all paperwork is in order and complete.
  • Supports the organization of all small packages delivered to Torani and their distribution to Torani Team Members.
  • Takes initiative to improve processes in the Transportation Office and Warehouse Operations.
