About The Position

DSV is seeking a Dock Coordinator for their Solutions division. This is a full-time, 2nd shift position (2pm-10:30pm, Monday-Friday) located in West Branch, USA. The role involves various responsibilities related to order fulfillment, quality control, safety, and equipment operation within a warehouse environment. Requirements

  • Must have a high school diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • Must be able to work in unregulated temperatures within the warehouse during the warmer and colder months can range from mild to moderate.
  • English (reading, writing, verbal).
  • Basic to intermediate level mathematical skills to verify quantities of product, count inventory, or perform other duties associated with handling, storing, and distributing client products.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to accomplish job tasks in a timely manner.
  • Ability to perform duties with minimal supervision or guidance.
  • Must be able to effectively adapt to change and thrive in a stimulating, fast-paced work environment.

Nice To Haves

  • 6 months experience working in a warehouse/logistics/distribution environment
  • Current or prior MHE certification

Responsibilities

  • Accurately pick orders using a pallet jack to fulfill client demands.
  • Efficiently and accurately pick products and stage them in appropriate areas.
  • Stack, package, band, shrink wrap, and label products as determined by client requirements.
  • Process all picking functions as defined by Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Use appropriate documentation to ensure all products and orders are received, handled, and shipped correctly.
  • Verify that products and/or orders meet quality standards.
  • Report any damages or discrepancies.
  • Stack, package, shrink wrap, and label products.
  • Process all quality control functions as defined by Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Execute all safety protocols and accomplish job tasks in a manner that promotes safety.
  • Maintain a clean, neat, orderly work area and assist in the security of the warehouse.
  • Comply with all Standard Operating Procedures, corporate and site-specific policies, safety rules, and OSHA/SDS Standards.
  • Operate a pallet jack.
  • Responsible for the upkeep of equipment and reporting of equipment problems.
  • Operate all equipment in a safe and efficient manner and follow prescribed work methods.
  • Perform or assist in building, grounds, and equipment maintenance as assigned.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Work overtime as dictated by business whether mandatory or voluntary.
