About The Position

This role involves coordinating the preparation, loading, and finalization of all outbound routes for the Four Seasons Family of Companies, adhering to outbound Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). The schedule is for the 2nd shift, starting at 4:00 pm, working the front half of the week (Sunday - Tuesday and every other Wednesday). This is an onsite position located in Ephrata, PA.

Requirements

  • Valid equipment certification for pallet jack, forklift, and hi-lift
  • Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 2 years of warehouse operations / outbound loading experience
  • Minimum of 18 years of age
  • Prior experience using Warehouse Management System (WMS) software preferred
  • Solid computer skills, with the ability to learn new software
  • Ability to use RF equipment, scanners, voice units, and headsets
  • Strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to effectively plan, prioritize, and make sound decisions

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the docking of trailers with yard jockeys and the Planning team.
  • Communicate and update Warehouse Operation Leads and the Management team on changes and challenges, including schedule changes, load issues, and QC issues.
  • Assist Guardhouse staff and the Planning team with customer pick-ups, outside carrier appointments, and other changes to the daily plan, ensuring all important changes are communicated to the Guardhouse, Warehouse, and Planning teams.
  • Record trailer temperatures prior to loading and the temperature of the last pallet loaded. Validate proper trailer loading, correct equipment usage, and secure loads with seals.
  • Ensure the Daily Outbound log is completed and all loading paperwork is properly completed before submission to the Transportation office.
  • Assist Operations as needed.
