Rock Lane Resort is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Dock Attendant to join our waterfront team. Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Strong communication skills and a friendly, approachable demeanor.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Basic knowledge of boating and water safety is preferred; willingness to learn is essential.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
Must be able to lift and carry heavy objects and perform outdoor tasks in varying weather conditions.

Nice To Haves

Previous customer service experience, especially in hospitality or recreational settings, is a plus.

Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly as they arrive at the dock, providing a friendly and welcoming atmosphere.
Assist guests with boat rentals, ensuring they receive the necessary safety equipment and instructions for a safe and enjoyable experience.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dock area, including boats, equipment, and surrounding facilities.
Monitor dock activities to ensure guest safety and adherence to resort policies.
Provide guests with information about local attractions, lake conditions, and resort amenities, enhancing their overall experience.
Assist with launching and retrieving boats, ensuring a smooth and efficient process.
Address any guest inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally, striving to exceed expectations.
Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless operations and a positive guest experience.
Participate in routine maintenance of dock facilities and equipment as required.
