About The Position

Crown Equipment Corporation is hiring a Dock and Door Service Technician to troubleshoot, diagnose, service, repair, and install dock and door equipment. The technician performs planned maintenance on customer equipment, welding, maintains a service van and its inventory, and completes paperwork after each job.

The schedule is primarily first shift and includes 40 hours per week plus overtime. Crown offers a wage and benefits package for full-time employees. The anticipated starting pay range is $23 to $28 per hour, with skills and related experience considered.

Requirements

• Less than 2 years of related experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license and good driving record.
• Ability to safely operate lift trucks.

• Good written and verbal communication and customer care skills.
• Ability to read and understand hydraulic and electrical schematics.
• Familiarity with common hand tools and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, service, repair, and install dock and door equipment.
• Perform assigned planned maintenance on customer dock and door equipment.
