About The Position

Crown Equipment Corporation is seeking a knowledgeable, customer-focused technician to service dock and door equipment. The role involves troubleshooting, diagnosing, servicing, repairing, and installing equipment, as well as completing planned maintenance. It also includes welding, maintaining a service van and its inventory, and processing paperwork after each job.

Crown describes the position as primarily first shift and offers 40 hours per week plus overtime. Requirements

• Less than 2 years of related experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license, good driving record, and ability to safely operate lift trucks.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States; sponsorship is not provided.

Nice To Haves

• Technical school graduate preferred.
• Mechanical and electrical aptitude.
• Welding experience.
• Good written and verbal communication and customer care skills.
• Ability to read and understand hydraulic and electrical schematics.
• Familiarity with tools and equipment, including common hand tools.

Responsibilities
