About The Position

Crown Equipment Corporation, a global leader in lift truck manufacturing, is seeking a Dock and Door Service Technician. This role involves providing local support on a global scale, ensuring customers receive timely and quality service for their material handling equipment, fleet management solutions, and warehouse products. The technician will be responsible for servicing, repairing, and installing dock and door equipment, performing planned maintenance, and maintaining a service van and its inventory. The position requires processing paperwork after job completion and offers opportunities for career advancement within the company.

Requirements

• Less than 2 years related experience
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license, good driving record, and ability to safely operate lift trucks.

Nice To Haves

• Technical school graduate preferred.
• Mechanical and electrical aptitude.
• Welding experience.
• Good written and verbal communication and customer care skills.
• Read and understand hydraulic and electrical schematics
• Familiar with tools and equipment such as common hand.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, service, repair and install dock and door equipment.
• Perform all assigned planned maintenance on customer dock and door equipment.
• Welding.
• Maintain a service van and its inventory.
• Process paperwork after completion of each job.
