Dock and Door Sales Representative
About The Position
Eastern Lift Truck Co. is seeking a Dock and Door Sales Representative to support their Maple Shade, New Jersey territory. This role offers significant opportunities for growth, competitive compensation, and benefits within a company that values a family-like atmosphere. The position involves true outside sales, with four days spent in the territory and one day in the office for relationship building. Responsibilities include establishing new relationships and strengthening existing business, focusing on the sale of maintenance, service, and installation contracts for commercial overhead door and dock leveler systems.
Requirements
- Outside sales experience preferred
- Experience selling Commercial Overhead Dock/Door equipment and services a plus!
- High energy individual with a “hunter mentality”
- Results oriented, self-starter able to work independently
- Ability to build long lasting relationships
- Must possess unwavering customer service drive and focus
- Excellent communication, presentation, and follow-up skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel
- College Degree preferred
Responsibilities
- Grow sales within your territory- meet and exceed sales goals
- Service existing accounts, obtain orders, and establish new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing or potential customers
- Travel throughout assigned territory to call on customers to solicit orders
- Provide superior customer service
- Prepare daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly & annual territory analysis
- Build relationships with clients; represent Eastern Lift Truck Co. in a professional manner
