About The Position
Eastern Lift Truck Co. is currently seeking a Dock and Door Mechanic to support Baltimore and surrounding areas. The position involves overseeing and assisting in the repair of overhead door and dock leveling systems, researching and resolving issues to customer satisfaction within policy, and performing commercial and industrial maintenance and repairs on a variety of overhead doors and dock leveling systems. The mechanic will troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems pertaining to the operation of overhead doors and dock leveling systems, working from ladders, scaffolding, and aerial lifts, and wearing appropriate PPE and fall protection.
Requirements
- Experience installing, diagnosing, repairing, inspecting, and maintaining commercial overhead steel doors
- Working knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems
- Individual must have their own tools
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds
- Good driving record and active license

- Welding / fabricating experience a plus
Responsibilities
