Requirements

Must be pursuing Bachelor’s or Advanced degree in Mechanical Engineering or STEM Major and actively enrolled through the completion of the internship session.
Must have a minimum of 60 hours of credit by the start of the internship session.
Students must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher and should be a rising junior or senior undergraduate student at a minimum.
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

Experience Reviewing & Approving Assembly Work Instructions
Experience Reviewing & Approving Engineering Product Definition
Proficient in Teamcenter, NX, Solumina & SAP
Prior RTX internship, co-op, or work experience.

Responsibilities

Create and approve Assembly Process Instructions to meet validation / certification requirements for commercial and military Development Engines.
Support the Assembly Floor by driving the implementation of Assembly Instructions and troubleshooting any issues that may be stopping the Engine from being built.
Drive the development and implementation of new and robust processes needed to ensure production readiness.
Consistently work to improve technical proficiency.
Review Bill of Materials (BOM) to identify needed changes to engineering definition and/or work instructions.
