The Virginia Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) is seeking a dedicated and experienced professional to serve as Customer Service Center Assistant Manager at the Hopewell Customer Service Center. This position plays a key leadership role in ensuring the efficient and customer-focused delivery of DMV programs and services. The Assistant Manager assists the CSC Manager and directly supervises staff in the delivery of a full range of DMV services including driver licensing, vehicle registration and titling, tax collection, dealer services, and motor carrier services. All programs are administered in strict accordance with statutory and administrative requirements. The Virginia Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV), headquartered in Richmond, Virginia, serves approximately 6.2 million licensed drivers and ID card holders with over 8.4 million registered vehicles. In addition, DMV serves many businesses, including dealers, fuel tax customers, rental companies, driving schools, other state agencies, local governments, and non-profit organizations.
