About The Position

Responsible for the delivery and setup of durable medical equipment to patient/family homes, medical facilities, and other company locations. Provides training on the use of the equipment. Tests and maintains equipment to ensure proper functionality.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or one (1) year of specialized training or education.
  • Six (6) months of experience in a related field.
  • Knowledge of Internet software.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license with a driving history verified through a motor vehicle report that meets the requirements for Cherokee Nation underwriting rating.
  • The employee must not be and will not be under sanction by the United States Department of Health and Human Services Office of the Inspector General (OIG) or by the General Services Administration (GSA) or listed on the OIG's Cumulative Sanction Report, or the GSA's List of Excluded Providers, or listed on the OIG's List of Excluded Individuals/Entities (LEIE).
  • Must possess a basic level of skill in working with respiratory and general durable medical equipment.
  • Must have good interpersonal relationship skills in dealing with clients, families, physicians, co-workers, and other health care workers.
  • Educated on and compliant with HIPAA regulations and maintains strict confidentiality of patient information.
  • Must meet and maintain pre-employment and periodic background investigation and adjudication for child care.
