About The Position

This is a full-time position for a DME Technician/Driver responsible for delivering, installing, and instructing patients on the use of various medical equipment. The role also involves handling equipment returns, cleaning, and occasional repair. Key responsibilities include providing excellent customer service, troubleshooting equipment issues, and maintaining accurate inventory records.

Requirements

  • Experience in the medical equipment field.
  • Excellent communication skills.

  • Time management skills.
  • Must be comfortable lifting and maneuvering medical equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Delivering medical equipment like wheelchairs, walkers, oxygen concentrators, and hospital beds to patients' homes or healthcare facilities.
  • Handling the return of equipment, ensuring it is properly cleaned and prepared for future use.
  • Maintaining accurate inventory records of all equipment.
  • Tracking what is in stock, what is out for delivery, and what needs to be returned.
  • Providing excellent customer service to patients and their families.
  • Addressing questions and concerns related to equipment usage and delivery.
  • Instructing patients on the use of various medical equipment.
  • Handling equipment returns, cleaning, and sometimes even repair.
