About The Position

The DME Supervisor will be directly responsible for the ordering, stocking, and inventory maintenance for all Durable Medical Equipment (DME) within the Orthopedic Service Line. In addition to DME, billable supply items will fall under this position’s purview as well. The position will also be receiving routine payment reports from the Senior Billing Coordinator and will be expected to react to and make operations changes to any areas that are causing delays or denials in payment.

Requirements

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to present information clearly in a group setting

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's degree in healthcare field or supply chain management
• 2+ years in healthcare materials/supply chain management
• Experience with durable medical equipment (DME)
• Experience with durable medical equipment (DME) billing

Responsibilities

• Ordering, stocking, and inventory maintenance for all Durable Medical Equipment (DME) within the Orthopedic Service Line.
• Managing billable supply items.
