About The Position

The DJT Server is responsible for the service of food and/or beverage, including order-taking and delivery of all food and beverage items. This role requires a friendly, courteous, helpful, and timely approach to ensure a very high level of guest satisfaction. The position involves interacting with guests, accurately recording orders, communicating with the kitchen, and maintaining a high standard of service.

Requirements

Must be 21 years of age.
Must be able to work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays.
Must be able to obtain a Health Card from the Southern Nevada Health District.
Must be able to obtain a TAM Card.

Nice To Haves

Prior hospitality experience preferred.
Six (6) months to one-year previous serving experience preferred.
Knowledge of food & beverage including food preparation is preferred.
Additional language ability is preferred, Spanish in particular.

Responsibilities

Check station before, during, and after shift for proper set-up and cleanliness.
Greet guests in a friendly and courteous manner, explaining specials and promotions.
Record guest orders, upsell, and repeat orders for accuracy.
Input orders into the Point of Sale system according to protocol.
Retrieve orders from the kitchen, confirm accuracy, and deliver to guests with condiments.
Abide by all State, Federal, and Corporate liquor regulations.
Replenish beverages and check with guests for satisfaction.
Market and serve dessert items or specialty beverages upon request.
Monitor guest satisfaction and present checks, processing them per resort procedures.
Communicate effectively with kitchen chefs.
Perform job functions with attention to detail, speed, and accuracy.
Make progress on multiple assignments under time constraints.
Ensure stations are clean, orderly, and stocked with specified condiments and promotional material.
Ensure tables are set properly according to assigned station.
Complete side duties, including stocking condiments, folding napkins, and polishing glasses.
Effectively take guest orders in a timely manner, ensuring beverage orders are taken within two minutes after guest is seated.
Maintain complete knowledge of all menu and beverage items, their prices, method of preparation, and availability.
Perform all other job-related duties as requested.
