Requirements

Effective communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills
Experience with utilizing ERP systems for scheduling, reporting and data analysis
Experience leading teams
Experience with carrier development
Computer knowledge/skills
Commitment to safety, actively involved in their division’s safety initiatives

Experience with load forecast planning & management

Responsibilities

Refining processes and procedures to support Transportation development as well as reporting and analysis.
Coordination of deliveries to meet customer requirements.
Serve as the business unit subject matter expert for the implementation of a new ERP, support the ongoing maximization of ERP functionality, take on ad-hoc reporting and analysis projects, and serve as a strategic Transportation support for our business.
Ensure compliance with all safety rules and regulations as well as company guidelines regarding the dispatching and scheduling of transportation needs for inbound and outbound loads.
Collaborate with other teammates and leaders to prioritize load builds, load forecasting by day-week-month, load tracking, section tracking, small parts tracking & POD reconciliation.
Manage multiple projects at once.
Lead and develop carrier relationships to execute the site plan.
