About The Position

The Division Sales & Operations Manager will serve as the primary liaison between the Division Vice President and the Regional Sales Managers (RSM). This role is split equally between strategic planning and directing the activities of the Regional Sales Managers. The manager will be instrumental in developing strategies to enhance Division operations, drive sales and profits, increase the value of the franchise network, and support the growth of new stores.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of management experience with a similar employer/industry
  • 6+ years of experience in customer care/satisfaction in a retail environment
  • Previous experience in a fast-paced environment requiring strict organization, efficiency, and attention to detail
  • Experience in customer relationship management
  • A clear understanding of income statements, balance sheet management, and cash flow
  • Knowledge of best practices for customer experience management and the customer lifecycle
  • Ability to implement and monitor a strong internal quality improvement program
  • Proficient in MS Office applications including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Project
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Management or a related field of study
  • Must reside within the assigned Region
  • Approximately 50% travel expected
  • Occasional nights and weekends required to support franchisees

Responsibilities

  • Lead Regional Sales Managers and Midas Franchisees in improving store operations and operational excellence to drive retail sales growth, increase dealer profitability, and grow franchisee businesses while adhering to Midas' best practices, policies, and procedures.
  • Focus on increasing car count by implementing strategies that enable Midas franchisees to provide excellent customer service.
  • Develop tactics to transition the Midas Business Model from a basic service shop to a comprehensive tire destination and total car care retailer.
  • Oversee all operational aspects within the Division, acting as the point of contact for issues and troubleshooting across Regions and Shared Service groups. Direct all Divisional activities under the guidance of the Division Vice President.
  • Participate in local Franchise Development sales events.
  • Supervise the schedules of Regional Sales Managers and engage in cold calling to independent tire and auto repair dealers to discuss converting their businesses to Midas or selling to existing Midas dealers.
  • Work with Regional Sales Managers and Franchisees to onboard them to 'The Midas Way,' ensuring understanding of the Midas System, assisting with start-up challenges, and fostering proficiency in all operational areas.
  • Orchestrate and coordinate key meetings, lead, guide, and direct field teams. Create tactics to drive Same Store Sales growth, New Store growth, Save Store programs, and positively impact EBITDA.
  • Lead and direct the daily activities of Regional Sales Managers and Field Operations Managers for Franchise Integration. Anticipate needs and coordinate activities across the assigned Division.
  • Track and report on Division Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
