About The Position

The Blinn College District is searching for a Full Time - Division Operations Coordinator - Mathematics, Business, Engineering, and Technology at our Bryan Campus. Primary Duties and Responsibilities are listed below: Job Summary Following institutional restructuring, the Division Operations Coordinator serves the expanded MBET Division, centralizing operational support across four major academic disciplines: Mathematics, Business, Engineering, and Technology. The position is responsible for executing administrative and managerial tasks, extracting and analyzing critical metrics, and supporting leadership in making data-driven decisions regarding enrollment, registration, and operational issues. Additionally, the coordinator acts as the primary frontline support for students navigating major selection, complex course enrollment guidelines, and transfer pathways across all MBET programs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree; OR an equivalent combination of education and directly related experience (e.g., 3+ years of extensive higher education administrative, Banner, or similar departmental operations experience in lieu of a degree).
  • Experience with data analysis
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with students, faculty, and leadership

Nice To Haves

  • 5+ years of experience working in higher education or community college administration
  • Demonstrated experience supporting multiple academic departments or technical disciplines
  • Proficiency with student information systems (e.g., Banner) and divisional reporting tools
  • Knowledge of academic course registration guidelines, degree requirements, and transfer pathways

Responsibilities

  • Provide centralized operational oversight across all four academic disciplines: Mathematics, Business, Engineering, and Technology.
  • Coordinate administrative workflows, logistical requirements, and divisional scheduling to ensure smooth daily operations.
  • Extract, analyze, and report key divisional metrics to assist leadership with data-driven decision-making regarding student enrollment trends, registration bottlenecks, and operational capacity.
  • Serve as the primary operational point of contact for students, offering guidance on major selection, course registration procedures, and transfer pathways across all MBET programs.
  • Oversee divisional tracking and student onboarding processes during peak registration periods to maintain institutional responsiveness and prevent operational gaps.
