About The Position

Seattle Pacific University's College of Humanities, Education and the Arts is seeking an adjunct faculty member to supervise graduate-level interns in a classroom setting. The role involves guiding teacher candidates as they practice essential skills such as observation, planning, instruction, assessment, and reflection. Supervisors will work on a contractual, part-time basis for specified quarters throughout the academic year. Observations can be conducted either online or in person, depending on the intern's placement site.

Requirements

  • Terminal degree in a related field.
  • Excellent teaching skills across various classroom settings.
  • A personal commitment to Christian faith.
  • Enthusiasm about supporting SPU's mission.
  • Alignment with the University's Statement of Faith.
  • Willingness to accept the lifestyle standards of the Christian community.
  • Comfortability discussing the intersection of faith and education with students.

Responsibilities
