About The Position

Radiance Technologies is seeking a highly experienced and technically driven Division Manager to lead its Emerging Technologies Division in support of a U.S. Army acquisition product office at Redstone Arsenal, Alabama. This leadership position is responsible for directing a multidisciplinary Systems Engineering and Technical Assistance (SETA) organization focused on advanced capability development, acquisition modernization, rapid prototyping, systems integration, cybersecurity, logistics, and operational transition activities supporting Army modernization priorities. The Division Manager will provide leadership across a portfolio of complex defense programs aligned with emerging warfighter requirements and accelerated acquisition pathways. This role requires a proven leader capable of synchronizing technical execution, workforce development, customer engagement, and business operations within a high-tempo acquisition environment. The successful candidate will serve as a trusted advisor to senior government leadership while driving innovative approaches that reduce capability gaps, improve operational readiness, and accelerate the transition of advanced technologies from concept development to fielded solutions.

Requirements

  • U.S. Citizenship required.
  • Active Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility.
  • Demonstrated technical leadership experience within Department of Defense acquisition, engineering, or modernization environments.
  • Strong understanding of systems engineering principles, acquisition lifecycle management, rapid prototyping methodologies, and defense program execution.
  • Ability to lead and manage multidisciplinary technical organizations in a fast-paced government contracting environment.
  • Exceptional communication, organizational, and customer engagement skills with the ability to influence senior government and industry stakeholders.
  • Experience balancing multiple competing priorities, customer requirements, personnel actions, and operational objectives simultaneously.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across government, contractor, and operational organizations.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical discipline.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience supporting Department of Defense acquisition, engineering, modernization, or advanced technology programs.
  • Experience supporting Army modernization initiatives, acquisition reform efforts, rapid capability development, or operational fielding programs.
  • Strong familiarity with DoD acquisition lifecycle processes, systems engineering methodologies, program management frameworks, and SETA operations.
  • Experience supporting classified programs and operating effectively within sensitive government environments.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree in Engineering or related discipline.
  • Experience supporting Army PEOs, CFTs, PM Offices, or other modernization-focused acquisition organizations.
  • Knowledge of Middle Tier Acquisition (MTA), rapid acquisition authorities, agile systems development, DevSecOps, and digital engineering concepts.
  • Demonstrated success leading geographically dispersed, matrixed, or cross-functional technical teams.
  • Strong technical understanding of cybersecurity integration, logistics modernization, systems integration, software-intensive systems, and operational sustainment strategies.
  • Experience supporting emerging technology initiatives involving autonomy, AI/ML-enabled systems, advanced sensors, networked systems, or digital transformation efforts.

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and technical oversight for a multidisciplinary workforce supporting Army acquisition, modernization, and advanced concept development initiatives.
  • Direct teams consisting of systems engineers, acquisition analysts, logisticians, cybersecurity professionals, security specialists, program integrators, and business operations personnel in the execution of complex SETA activities.
  • Establish and maintain organizational priorities, technical standards, and execution strategies aligned with customer mission objectives and evolving Army modernization requirements.
  • Drive a culture of innovation, accountability, technical rigor, and continuous process improvement across all functional areas.
  • Oversee supervisory and administrative management functions, including workforce management, performance assessments, and employee development activities.
  • Develop and implement individualized career progression and professional development plans with emphasis on acquisition workforce competencies, systems engineering expertise, and leadership growth.
  • Conduct annual performance evaluations, provide technical mentoring, and implement performance improvement strategies when necessary in coordination with Human Resources.
  • Advise government leadership on acquisition modernization strategies, rapid capability development initiatives, systems integration challenges, and organizational transformation efforts.
  • Support execution of advanced acquisition efforts utilizing agile development methodologies, rapid prototyping frameworks, and accelerated fielding processes.
  • Lead coordination across technical and business functions to ensure timely delivery of high-quality, mission-focused products, analyses, and program support activities.
  • Support Program Managers in the development and execution of program management artifacts, including Monthly Status Reports, technical assessments, risk evaluations, and performance metrics.
  • Maintain strong collaborative relationships with government, industry, and operational stakeholders to support integrated capability development and transition planning.
  • Interface with Radiance leadership and government stakeholders to ensure exceptional customer satisfaction and mission support.
  • Support Army modernization initiatives involving advanced systems development, prototyping, integration, test and evaluation, sustainment planning, and operational fielding activities.
  • Assist government customers with acquisition planning, requirements decomposition, technical risk management, program execution, and transition-to-production strategies.
  • Support cross-functional integration efforts across engineering, logistics, cybersecurity, intelligence, and operational communities to accelerate delivery of emerging technologies to the warfighter.
  • Contribute to strategic planning activities associated with capability gaps, technology insertion, digital transformation, and future operational requirements.
  • Provide technical and organizational leadership within classified and sensitive program environments requiring high levels of coordination, discretion, and mission focus.
